To manifest what seems impossible can be a daunting task, but it’s not impossible. Maybe you aspire to start your own business, write a best-selling novel, or become a professional athlete. Whatever your goal may be, it’s easy to feel discouraged when you think it’s beyond your reach.
However, the truth is that with the right mindset and approach, you can manifest what seems impossible into reality. In this article, we will explore some effective ways to manifest what seems impossible, obstacles you might face while manifestation, and pre-steps to take.
So, let’s dive in and discover what it means to manifest something that seems impossible.
What Does it Mean To Manifest Something that Seems Impossible?
Everyone has something they want to manifest. It could be a dream car or shop or house or probably a job. There is that something you badly want to become your reality. However, your current reality makes it seem like the dream is impossible.
Now this is where manifestation comes in.
What then is manifestation?
Manifestation is the act of bringing to the reality that you have created in the mind through belief.
Before you can manifest anything great you have to first visualize it. Visualize the scene, the emotion, the process, and everything that embodies that thing.
Then back up your visual creation with belief. You act out what you believe. So if you strongly believe in what you want to manifest, then you act like you already have it. In just a matter of time, it becomes your reality.
There is this story of a man who got his dream car through manifestation. This young man desired to own a car but his finance wasn’t buoyant enough to afford such.
He didn’t relent on this dream. Rather, to manifest his dream car he started carrying what seem like a car key around. Everyone around thought he was crazy and trying to live a fake life. But to this young man, he was just living out his belief.
On a faithful day, he summons courage and went to an automobile shop. He met with the salesperson, describes his dream car, and was informed of the price. His account balance was below the price.
Then a richer dude came to the same shop wanting to buy the same car and the exact color shown to the young man. The young man didn’t bulge even knowing he can’t afford it.
The rich dude badly wanted that exact color of the car that he offered to buy the young man the same model of car with a different color.
Now that is how this man manifested his dream car while others think he was crazy. The question is why did these people assume that this guy is crazy?
The answer is simple.
They couldn’t align with his dream because they chose to focus on the obstacles.
Obstacles To Manifesting Your Dream Reality
In life’s journey, there are obstacles we all face. In fact, these obstacles are the spice of life. Thus, before you can manifest what seems impossible, there are some obstacles you might face.
1. Doubt
Doubt is a feeling of distrust that is backed by one’s perception. Your perception is influenced by different factors such as upbringing, beliefs, and your present reality.
The reason why we experience doubt could be traced to any of the three factors.
You doubt you can ever get your dream luxurious house because you have been brought up with the belief that such houses are for the wealthy. Also, your present financial statement says you are not even close to being rich because you are in so much debt.
Even when you try to manifest it, the feeling of doubt keeps crippling you because your perception has blinded your vision. In fact, visualizing yourself living in that house becomes difficult because anytime you try, you just feel it’s never possible.
The first step to surmount this challenge is to change your perception which includes the three aforementioned factors.
2. Fear
A companion to the feeling of doubt is fear. The reason why one doubts the ability to manifest what seems impossible is that he/she harbors the fear of failure.
In life, failing is inevitable. Failure isn’t a result rather it’s the process to the main result which is your target goal.
Funnily, people don’t know that when you harbor failure it becomes what you attract. In an instance where you harbor the feeling of doubt and fear towards a promotion you are manifesting, at the end of the day, you might realize that you didn’t get the promotion.
That is because you attracted the most dominant thought which is fear of failure. At least that is what the law of attraction says – “positive thoughts attract positive results and vice versa.”
3. Limiting belief
Limiting beliefs are negative thoughts that confine you from taking action toward manifesting what seems impossible. This limiting belief comes in form of doubt
An amazing fact about such beliefs is that they are actually false. They are false images we paint about ourselves in our minds. An example of a limiting belief is “I am not good enough”.
A person who possesses such belief will certainly find it difficult to manifest anything because firstly, you are attracting negativity. Secondly, manifestation works alongside a positive self-image.
Thus, limiting belief constrains your mind from visualizing the possibility of manifestation. People take action toward something that they strongly believe or deem possible. Hence, you certainly won’t take action on something you believe is impossible.
A limited mind will never step outside its self-created jurisdiction and it’s an obstacle to manifesting.
4. Disbelief
Another obstacle people face when it comes to manifesting what seems impossible is disbelief. Disbelief heightens the impossibility of things.
It is that voice in the head that uses only pessimistic words such as “can’t”, “impossible”, and “never”. Such words hold you back from taking action.
Remember the story of the young man who manifested his dream car? Take a second to imagine what would have been his fate if he had operated in disbelief. It was his strong belief in the possibility that gave him the courage to go to an automobile shop even with limited cash.
In that story, the people around him didn’t believe in the possibility of manifesting what seem impossible.
Moreover, what seems impossible is never impossible. It just only has its resemblance.
Pre-Steps to Take
To successfully manifest what seems impossible, there are some pre-steps to take, which include:
1. Know What You Want to Manifest
The first step to manifesting is knowing what you want to manifest. Of course, there are many things you desire to become a reality. But they can’t all be manifested. So among the pool of dreams and desires, pen down the most paramount one and take action towards manifesting it.
This first step provides clarity around your goals and desires. You become more precise on what to do to manifest your desire.
Also with a clear vision, you become focused and able to create a plan of action that’s aligned with your goals and take steps toward achieving them.
Lastly, knowing what you want helps you align your thoughts and emotions with your desired outcome. This will attract the right opportunities and resources to support your goals.
2. Release Limiting Belief
Earlier we talked about limiting beliefs as an obstacle to manifesting. To successfully manifest what seems impossible you need to release those limiting beliefs you have about yourself.
Releasing limiting beliefs demands patience. Those beliefs have been built over the years and they can’t be uprooted with a flick of the finger. With time and consistent practice, they will be gone as if they never existed.
One of such practice to imbibe is to reframe negative beliefs into a positive statement. For example, if your limiting belief is “I am not good enough”, reframe it to “I am enough and that is what matter”.
Also, limiting beliefs are false accusations that restrict you. So whenever the limiting voice tries to cripple you, remind yourself that they are all false accusations. You are not what it says to you.
3. Believe in Yourself
Since manifestation indirectly pushes you out of your comfort zone, you need to have a certain level of confidence and self-belief to forge ahead.
Self-belief purges away doubt and fear that stands as an obstacle to your manifestation. It motivates and helps you stay committed to your goals regardless of any circumstance.
Believing in yourself means you think highly of yourself. You have a positive opinion about yourself.
Remember what the law of attraction says – positive thoughts attract positive results.
Thus, positive thoughts about yourself will help to fasten the manifestation of your desire. In case there is a setback, self-belief helps you bounce back on your feet and keep going.
4 Ways To Manifest What Seems Impossible
1. Affirmations
Affirmations are positive statements or phrases that are repeated to oneself to reprogram the subconscious mind with positive beliefs and thoughts. In this case, affirmations serve as a tool for manifesting what seems impossible.
The logic behind affirmations is that a continuous repeat of a positive statement will change your belief which in turn changes your behavior and experience.
Thus, daily repetition of positive statements like “I am wealthy” will change your subconscious mind into believing that you are wealthy. The impact of this is that you begin to think like wealthy people and attract big deals.
Your changed mindset has positioned you to not only attract these opportunities but also be able to easily spot them.

- Write your affirmative statement in the present tense.
- Don’t use the verb “will” when writing these statements. For instance, “I will be wealthy” is different from “I am wealthy”. The latter speaks like you are already wealthy. While the former sounds like mere wishes that will happen in the farthest future.
- Believe in the words you say.
- Ensure you say/read your affirmations daily. You could say it multiple times a day.

2. Understand The Law of Attraction
Another way to manifest the impossible is to understand how the law of attraction works. The law of attraction is based on the idea that positive or negative thoughts can influence a person’s life, and that by focusing on positive thoughts, a person can attract positive experiences and outcomes.
The Law of Attraction believes that by focusing on positive thoughts and feelings, practicing gratitude, visualizing success, and taking action toward your goals, you can manifest your desires and create the life you want.
Simply put, the law of attraction means that “your focus becomes your reality.” When you focus on how poor you look, you will certainly remain poor and attract poor people.
In other words, you have to stop focusing on how you look at the moment, and rather look like what you want to attract.
When you have come to a stance of fully understanding how the law of attraction operates, you will be able to manifest what seems impossible.
3. Mindfulness
Mindfulness means being conscious of the present moment. It involves paying attention to the present moment with an attitude of curiosity, openness, and non-judgment.
When you practice mindfulness, you will become more aware of your thoughts, emotions, and patterns of behavior. This allows you to identify any limiting beliefs or negative self-talk that may be holding you back from achieving your goals.
Once you have identified and worked on those limiting beliefs. You will have a clear mind and a new belief that aligns with your goals.
One of the foremost mindfulness practices is meditation. By cultivating a mindfulness practice, you will learn to observe thoughts and emotions without judgment and instead, focus your attention on what you want to manifest.
Also, mindfulness helps you to develop a sense of gratitude and positivity, which attracts more abundance and prosperity into your lives.
By focusing on the present moment and appreciating the blessings that you already have, you will create a more positive mindset that is conducive to manifesting your desires.

Building a solid positive belief means developing a strong and resilient conviction or perspective about oneself, others, or the world at large. These beliefs (they could be multiple) should be rooted in positivity, optimism, and growth.
It also involves cultivating a mindset that is focused on opportunities, possibilities, and solutions, rather than limitations, obstacles, or failures.
Identify the fact that I used the word “building”. Thus it implies that just as Rome wasn’t built in a day so also is positive belief.
It requires consistent and intentional effort to challenge and reframe negative thoughts, beliefs, and self-talk, and replace them with positive and empowering ones. To achieve these great results you have to be patient.
Remember we discussed that holding limiting beliefs or negative thoughts about ourselves or the world around us will likely create experiences that reflect those beliefs.
So also if you develop positive beliefs and a positive mindset, you are more likely to attract positive experiences and outcomes into your lives.
That is because your beliefs shape your thoughts and emotions, which ultimately influence the outcomes (your reality) that you experience in your lives. For instance, when you believe that good things are possible, you are more likely to see and create opportunities for those good things to happen.
